Spotlight Stewardship: Santa Cruz Mountains

The Santa Cruz Mountains Stewardship Network presents Spotlight Stewardship, an educational program that invites community leaders out onto the land to become familiar with important stewardship issues facing the Santa Cruz Mountains.

The program is a five-session intensive. The intensive will walk participants through stewardship issues like water quality, working lands, invasive species, fire management, Native stewardship, selective sustainable timber harvesting, impacts of cannabis cultivation and many others.

Tuition for Spotlight Stewardship $250.

Scholarships are available.

Acceptance into the course requires that you be able to attend all five sessions!

Note that the course requires light hiking up to one or two miles.

2018 Spotlight Stewardship dates are: May 11, June 8, July 13,   August 10, and September 14.
